Urgency and My Theology

As the days go by, we grow closer to the end of this age. As Christians, it is a foundational belief that we have. Jesus Christ is returning for His Beloved, His Bride. Revelation 22:12- "Behold, I am coming soon!..." Most Christian theology agrees that Jesus Christ is returning soon. The questions still remain. When and How will Jesus Christ return? Beyond being right or wrong, the purpose of the end-times is draw us closer to the heart of God. To give you some background of my theology, I believe that all theology must coincide with the greatest commandment of all. Matthew 22:37-38,40 Jesus replied, "Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment.....All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments." I also apply the purpose of eternal life to my theology and beliefs. John 17:3 Now this is eternal life: that they may know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent. I try to use these in my theology. I encourage everyone who is reading these blogs, to search these out for themselves. It will not become alive in your heart, unless you search it out and ask God for revelation yourself. This blog is going to be opinionated as are most blogs, but I encourage you not to believe me until you have searched it out for yourself. Then if I happen to be right, pat me on the back and help me to continue to spread the awareness. If I am wrong or appear to be wrong e-mail or whatever. Just don't shove in my face. We claim to be Christians, act like it.

Nice man. I look forward to reading your stuff. I'd participate in your poll, but you don't have an option for "no rapture."

Hey, Dave! Good opening to what I look forward to reading; and I love your emphasis on how any study of eschatology should draw you closer to God in every case :)

Would it be a serious infringement on your personal expression to ask for either (a) bigger font or (b) a sans serif (i.e. without the little thingies on the ends of the letters) font? Would be a little easier to read ;-)
